The All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) aims to improve end-of-life care and experience on the island of Ireland by enhancing capacity, developing knowledge, promoting learning, influencing policy and shaping practice.
AIIHPC is comprised of a consortium of Health Agencies and Universities in the North and South of Ireland and is focused on work in three areas – policy & practice, research and education.
The Institute is committed to providing comprehensive support to the sector by working with all organisations, researchers, experts and funders who are dedicated to improving hospice and palliative care on the island of Ireland.
AIIHPC is funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies with additional funding from the Irish Hospice Foundation, Irish Cancer Society, Health Research Board, the Research and Development Office of the Public Health Agency Northern Ireland and the Consortium Partners.
