Free training workshop for social science, nursing and allied health professionals
The Irish Cancer Society are delighted to be collaborating with Dr Emer Guinan, Assistant Professor in Interprofessional Learning and Dr Linda O’Neill, Research Fellow at Trinity St James Cancer Institute to host a free in person two to four day workshop for social, nursing and allied health professionals to help develop and improve clinical research skills.
This is open to all social, nursing and allied health professionals to attend a workshop in Trinity Centre for Health Sciences St James’s Hospital. However, as spaces are limited priority will be given those working in an oncology-related field. The workshops will equip you to develop research ideas, apply for research funding, manage and conduct research as well as disseminate research. Attendees may opt to register for either one of the two-day workshops or they can attend the full four days as follows:
- Workshop 1: 8 and 9 September – Getting Started – How to navigate the research landscape. Register here
