CoP for SPC Complementary Therapies and Creative Arts Therapies
Specialist Palliative Care Complementary Therapies and Creative Arts Therapies Community of Practice
Welcome to the Specialist Palliative Care Complementary Therapies and Creative Arts Community of Practice (CoP). This community serves as a vibrant and dedicated platform for chaplains and pastoral care providers working in palliative care settings across the island. Our group unites compassionate, professionally trained therapists who provide specialist therapeutic interventions to support people with life-limiting illness, their family, those important them and those who are bereaved
Our CoP enables a network for support, shared learning, collaboration and practice development for specialist palliative care Complementary Therapists and Creative Arts Therapists across the island of Ireland. The Community of Practice promotes collaboration, exchange of knowledge and experience, peer support and the co-development of resources to strengthen evidence-informed, person-centered palliative care practice.
The CoP is led by two co-chairs from the membership and each year the co-chair role rotates.
Join us to be a part of meaningful conversations that advance practice, supports professional growth and shape the future of Complementary Therapies and Creative Arts Therapies in Specialist Palliative Care.
