CoP for SPC Speech & Language Therapy

Specialist Palliative Care Speech & Language Therapy Community of Practice

Welcome to the Specialist Palliative Care Speech & Language Therapy Community of Practice (CoP). This vibrant and dedicated platform is designed for speech and language therapists working within the realm of specialist palliative care across the island.

Our CoP enables speech and language therapists to collaborate and share innovative therapy approaches, practical techniques, and the latest research findings in a supportive and engaging environment. By participating in regular meetings, members have the opportunity to present their work, discuss the unique challenges of speech and language therapy in specialist palliative care, and exchange practical solutions. These interactions are designed to foster professional growth and advance the standards of social work within palliative care settings. Each year two members will co-chair the CoP.

Whether you are looking to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field, seeking guidance on complex cases, or aiming to contribute to the evolution of therapeutic practices, this community is your gateway to becoming part of a collective that values knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Join us to be part of meaningful conversations that shape the future of speech and language therapy in specialist palliative care.
